BUT HOW DID I ACHIEVE ALL OF THIS AFTER THE STRUGGLE?

I was born in a business family. At the age of 23 years,
I made the hardest decision of my life: 

“Should I step into my fathers shoes and take over his company?” 
“Of course I should,” said a voice. And then another voice said: 
“Is this really your way? Do you really want to be an electrician?”

So, finally I said no to my father, which was very hard for me. But I felt I did not have enough passion for that kind of business. And a near-death experience with an electrical accident, actually helped me! And I saw how hard my father worked for it.

He was living the normal insanity as most successful SME. So, I decided to create my own companies and looked for a new way for SME, as the opposite of insanity. When I started APPLETREE, I watched the company skyrocket.

But during that phase we were growing too fast, and I made my share of mistakes. These little mistakes generated a lot of problems. In short: I nearly lost it all.

Money, friends, health and so on. In a very short time of around 2 years, I crashed as a person with my company.

It was very hard, when you should fill up your car with gas, but you don’t have enough money in the pocket for a full tank. So, I totally changed my life, as an entrepreneur and as a person in an extreme way. And how did I do this?

I WROTE ABOUT IT IN MY BOOK WITH GREAT DETAIL.

Normaly, everybody in this situation is working nearly 20 hours per day. Because shocked on this situation they only see one option: Work, work, work. I have worked only 1 hour per day. I’ve got a dog. I gave her the name Elu.

During this time, I wrote all my mistakes on paper, all my worst stories and showed it to some of my friends who still believed in me.

They called me and told me “Bruno, please write more about how you were able to perform this amazing 180, it is very helpful for other entrepreneurs”.

And abracadabra, I published a book.
